I Never Said Civil Servants Smuggled Ghost Workers Names Into Kogi Payroll – HoS

The Kogi State Head of Service, Deborah Ogunmola has denied making statement that ghost workers have found their way back to the state payroll.

Reacting to report alleging that top notched civil servants have smuggled in about three hundred names into the payroll, said she never mentioned ghost workers in her meeting with permanent secretaries.

According to a statement sent to The Nigerian Post, by Mesole David Olaiya (PRO Office of Kogi State HOCS) said, ” there is already a publication by Graphic Newspapers that attended the meeting with the permanent secretaries.

The statement reads, ” I never mentioned “Ghost Workers” throughout the meeting I held with Perm Secretaries.

She described as most unfortunate that people who were not invited and not present at the meeting coined that and said top civil servants smuggled ghost workers into the payroll.

I don’t talk anyhow, I chose my statements carefully. I repeat,  I never mentioned The words “Ghost Workers”. I have asked those circulating the story to take it down in the spirit of justice.

The statement disclosed that only the Graphics Newspaper attended the meeting, wondered how and why she is been misquoted mischievously.
