Kogi First Lady Visits Family of Deceased Combatant Helicopter Pilot

Wife of Kogi State Governor, Hajia Rashida Bello Friday paid a condolence visit to the family of the Late first Nigerian Combatant Helicopter Pilot, Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile in Lokoja.

Tolulope’s death was announced by the Nigerian Air Force on Tuesday after she was hit by a car of her former Course mate while on reverse.

The First Lady who was represented by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Women and Children Development, Princess Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya, expressed shock over the death of Tolulope whom she described as a pride to women all over the world and Kogi State in particular.

She noted that the “News of Tolulope’s demise came to me as rude shock and very unfortunate. This is a great loss to all of us in Kogi State.”

According to her, it is very painful to loss a beloved one especially a dearly and accomplished daughter who has written her name on gold in the mind of everyone.

In her Words: This visit is to register my sympathy with your family over this unfortunate loss. I pray God comfort you and give you the fortitude to bear this huge shock.”

“We can never forget her contributions to Security especially the ongoing fight against insecurity in some parts of the country.”

The Governor’s wife prayed God to grant the Late Flying Officer peaceful rest.

The Mother of Tolulope, Mrs. Arotile said her daughter was on fasting until she the cold hands of death snatched her away.
“Tolulope prays and fast a lot, I ask her why did she like fasting and prayer. She was a strong, faithful and committed Child of God.” She said
