APPOINTMENT: GROUP LAUDS GOVERNOR BELLO

The Emodu Development Association, Lokoja Branch has commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello on the appointment their Son, Elder Jonah Abutu as the the Permanent Secretary, Kogi State Ministry of Environment.

The chairman of the Association, Mr John Agada made this commendation in Lokoja today during a courtesy visit to the office of the Permanent Secretary of Environment, Elder Jonah Abutu.
Mr Agada in his opening remark, thanked His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for his benevolence on Ofabo Community by appointing one of their own as a permanent Secretary, described the appointment as well deserved, considering his contribution to the development of Emodu land.

In his word, “As a matter of fact, your appointment is well deserved, considering your immense contribution to the development of our land. In the area of discipline, your impact is great in terms of economic and moral value on your students while you were a Teacher”

Agada noted that this appointment is a spring board to greater height and urged him not to relent effort in well doing especially to the development of Kogi state.

Responding, Elder Abutu J. Thanked the the people of Emodu Development Association, Lokoja Branch for the honour, adding that it is a demonstration of love and an extension of synergy for oneness, peace and tranquility.

Abutu noted that that his appointment as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment was not his making but an act of God.
He further thanked the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for considering him fit enough for the Exalted office.

He also used the medium to appeal to people living in flood prone areas to relocate in order to avoid it’s detrimental effect the consequent disasters.
Elder Jonah further extended his appreciation to the Honorable Commissioner for Environment and Natural Resources, Hon. Victor Adewale Omofaiye for creating a harmonious working relationship in the Ministry.
