*IGALAMELA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION STAKEHOLDERS MEETING, LOKOJA: 26/09/2020

It was a long day of fruitful deliberation towards Community Development earlier today, where the National Secretariat of Igalamela Community Development Association hosted her Stakeholders to a meeting to discuss vital issues ranging from Security to Enumeration Area Demarcation, Educational Advancement, Etemahi’s Palace, Leadership and Followership in Igalamela among other concerns.

Hon. (Barr.) Cosmas Atabor for the love of Community, was part of the meeting all through. He emphasised that it is only in brotherhood and unity of purpose that much can be achieved for the Community. He encouraged community approach in starting off projects while soliciting external support. He offered to lead or join any Committee of the ICDA to attract support for the development of the community.

On security of lives & property, Hon. Cosmas commended the current government especially the local government & ICDA for the measures put in place to support the existing security structures. He said there has been commendable peace in the community recently which must be sustained. For him and well-meaning leaders of the community, Security and Education remains top priority.

The National President of ICDA, Mr. Hussaini Inah commended CIA for his continuous support for ICDA & Community projects. He called on all sons & daughters of the community to rally round Hon. Cosmas to enable him give the constituency the best form of representation.

A good number of Community stakeholders were part of the meeting proffering suggestions/way forward for the development of Igalamela Community. Notable stakeholders on ground from far & near include Hon. Ismaila Inah Hussein, former House of Reps member, Hon. Zekeri Umar, former Local Government Chairman, Hon. Bala Sule, former Chairmanship aspirant, former ICDA Chairmen, representative of the Etemahi, Educationists, Community leaders, Civil servants, Business owners, Union and Youth leaders and a number of personalities joined via Zoom.
