The Member Representing the good people of Ijumu State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly Hon Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya has congratulated Alhaji Usman Ododo on his gubernatorial victory in Kogi State.
Hon Omotayo Ishaya expressed her delight in Ododo’s win and hopes that his administration will bring positive development to the people of Kogi State.
In a statement released by the female Assembly Member, Hon Omotayo Adeleye Ishaya said, “I would like to congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo, the Kogi State Governor-Elect, and the Deputy Governor-Elect, Comrade Joel Oyibo Salifu on their victory at the November 11 governorship election in the state.
His victory, she said, is a testament to the people’s trust in his leadership abilities, and I am confident that he will bring positive development to Kogi State.”
Hon Omotayo Ishaya also congratulated His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello, for the peaceful conduct of the election, while expressing confidence in the incoming successor.
She assured that the State House of Assembly would continue to add value to the state, particularly in providing better welfare for the women of the state .
She added that, “I look forward to working with the new administration to continue the progress His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Bello has made in empowering Women in Kogi State.
She expressed confidence that, under Alhaji Usman Ododo’s leadership, the state House of Assembly would further collaborate with the Executive in providing good governance to the people of Kogi State .
