In a bid to mark her one-year birthday, Amal Tazan, the daughter of a popular humanitarian and philanthropist in Kogi State, Amb. Tazan SAAHIBFATIU Onimisi has donated foodstuff worth thousands of naira to Stagi Orphanage Home, Lokoja Kogi.
Amb. Tazan, who is known for his humanitarian gesture especially to those at the grassroots, supporting education and health sector, thanked God for the gift of Amal to his family and the grace to celebrate her one-year-old birthday with her.
According to him, extravagant means of celebration have been long cut off from his lifestyle and will be a tradition he will want to build into his family.
He said, there are people on the street of our locality and orphanage homes who passionately need our kind gestures, and little efforts like this will go a long way to give them hope and a sense of belonging.
Amb. Tazan stressed that for over a decade, his foundation has been actively reaching out to the needy and will not fail to continue and ensure that those close to him get to replicate the same.
He thanked his beautiful wife, Mrs. Tazan for giving him a wonderful daughter in Amal and for helping to keep the house safe and homely.
He further used the medium to call on well-meaning Nigerians who Almighty God has blessed to come to the aid of the less privileged and extend hands of fellowship to them at this moment of economic hardship.
Receiving the food items, the Matron of the orphanage home, Miss. Bidemi thanked Amb. Tazan for keeping to his promise of coming back to the orphanage and his kind gesture to them.
According to her, the name ‘Tazan’ has become an household name in the orphanage and the neighborhood, stressing that the good Amb. Tazan has continued to show the society, especially the needy will come back to bless his daughter, family, and business.
