Legislators begins consultation for Alhaji Yahaya Bello
As consultations and negotiations with politicians, leaders, stakeholders and opinion moulders in the country with a view to projecting the Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello 2023 Presidential ambition, the Deputy Speaker of Kogi State of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed said Governor Yahaya Bello is the “face of a new Nigeria”.
Describing him as a man who is best for the job while responding to journalist, he said though the Governor is yet to declare his intention to contest for 2023 presidential race, but we as members of the state assembly have prevailed on him to throw his hat into the ring.
Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed said the North Central have sacrificed and contributed immensely for the unity, peace and stability in the democratic governance of the country, and the APC should give a consideration to Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello because he has done well in the area of Security, infrastructural development, education, health, youth empowerment and agriculture and he is the first Governor in Nigeria to involve women fully in politics. His emergence as president will be a new dawn for the Youths, women and people of Nigeria
The Deputy Speaker equally congratulated the Governor on his appointment as the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mobilisation & Sensitisation Committee, for the party’s up coming revalidation and registration exercises slated for January 25th 2021, saying that the APC will break another record as the largest party in West Africa after it’s registration of members.
The Speaker of the KGHA, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Olushola Kolawole and his team begin a consultation tour to other states for the Governor on Sunday 10th January 2021 and has visited states in the North Central where they will met with APC state assembly members for their support for Alhaji Bello.
