

2nd Anniversary of 2nd Tenure: Omofaiye Congratulates Gov. Bello, Says Developmental Strides Commendable
Kogi State Commissioner of Environment, Chief Victor Adewale Omofaiye has congratulated the State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello on his 2nd Anniversary of his second tenure in office.
Chief Omofaiye who made the remark while speaking with Newsmen in his office in Lokoja, described the developmental strides of the Governor in the Area of Education, Health, Agriculture, Erosion Control, Civil Service and Pension Reforms as Commendable.
He particularly hailed the Governor for showing interest in putting an end to erosion and flood problems through the establishment of Kogi State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency Project NEWMAP.l
Chief Omofaiye noted that with the ongoing massive Infrastructural projects across the State, Kogi State will soon witness commissioning of Projects.
The Commissioner maintained that for the first time in the history of Kogi State, the name of the State was written in gold at the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties of COP26 which was held in Glasgow, Scotland.
According to him, with the adoptioln of Public Private Partnership, the State has continued to maintain its position as one of the cleanest States in the country.
Chief Omofaiye explained that Gov Bello is a Youthful and Resourceful Nationalist has the potential to provide the quality leadership that Nigerians are yearning for.
He assured the Governor of his Unflinching Support to his aspirations to lead the country as well as that of his teaming supporters in Ijumu, Kogi State and Nigeria as a whole.
The Commissioner while praying God to grant Gov. Bello more wisdom and good health to continue in his responsive and responsible gesture to the state, wished him successful second tenure.
