Ambassador Ocheni Thanks Governor Bello on Appointment, Presents Certificate of Credence
One of the career Ambassadors from Kogi State, Mrs Regina Ocheni ha commended the governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello for his role and support for her nomination and confirmation as Career Ambassador to Germany.
Mrs Ocheni who was on a ‘thank you visit’ to the governor on Tuesday, accompanied by her husband, Professor Stephen Ocheni and son, disclosed that governor Yahaya Bello played very significant role in her nomination and confirmation as Ambassador to Germany. While presenting the certificate of credence to the governor and commending him for his fatherly role, Ocheni said her appointment further confirmed the fact that the governor was a detribalised leader who believed in competence and good character. She assured the governor that she will be a good representative of the state and country in the course of her assignment.
Also speaking, the former minister of Labour and Employment (state), Professor Stephen Ocheni commended governor Bello while describing him as a true father of the state.
