The Association of Northern Christian politicians (CNNPF) has condemned the statement issued by the former secretary to government of the Federation Mr. Babachir Lawal in it’s entirety, unfortunately the era of using anybody to drive cheap and selfish political agenda is gone, here is a man properly so called a Christian who was made SGF under the All Progressive Congress (APC) and was chased away because of corrupt allegations, who also went around begging
Sen, Bola Tinubu to be made his running mate, simply because he does not have enough political value to win election, he was dropped, for a man who has the Competence and Capacity to win elections, Alh Shettima Kashim, a drowning Babachir Lawal thinks he can hang on the ticket of the Christians to drag them into the rumbles of politics.
We are unequivocally saying to you that you’re on your own and not speaking for the Christians.
What was your contributions to Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) when you were Secretary to Government of the federation. what impact did you make, let the Christians know your achievement. Politics is about who gets what, when, and how, by prof Laswel, why do you compare it to Christianity in order to confuse the gullible Christians who are not vast in this game to confuse them the more.
It was because of this gullibility our pastors are encouraging us to join politics to have the knowledge and enlightenment in political activities, why will you now because of your selfish political ambition mis direct Christians to vote Alh Atiku Abubakar of PDP simply because your aims and Objectives were not satisfied.
Politics is not religion, Muslim, Muslim ticket was adopted for strategic reasons because it’s about winning elections, and winning is synonymous with population, Bola/Shettima ticket was not deliberate but specifically, analytical to win this election come 2023.
Mr. Babachir, if your loyalty is for the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Alh Mohamadu Buhari (PMB) , you would’ve remained consistent, your latest decision is inconsistent with your decision because your anti party activities is unholy, immoral and not consistent with your claim.
Unfortunately, you have not demonstrated Christianity, if you’re a true Christian you’ll not seat in the comfort of your house to speculate that, APC Candidate Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu will lose this election, how gospel are you Mr Babachir.
With due respect to you Mr Lawal Babachir, if you’re so gospel, you would have supported Peter Obi of Labour Party in defending a Christian Presidential candidate ,but because your agenda is selfish, immoral and lacks integrity you’ve chosen to support Alh Atiku Abubakar.
We wish you well, but remember, “he who must go to equity must go with clean hands”
We are using this medium to appeal to all Christians to support Bola/ Shettima ticket because it represents the real new Nigerian, where religion, ethnicity and sectionalism will be buried, it represents all inclusive governance, where all political parties will be allowed to showcase and contribute their quota to governance. its indeed an era for professionals in all sectors of the economy will be involved to practicalise his/her knowledge for development, Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a professional in human capital developer.
To ensure inconsistencies in security challenges in Nigeria, boosting economy development which is a product of peace, Bola/Shettima ticket shall provide a holistic and all inclusive governance irrespective of religion, ethnicity and sectionalism because he has demonstrated this threat of leadership when he was a Governor of Lagos State.
