Kogi state House of Assembly Press Corps had presented awards of excellence to Eleven deserving lawmakers for their exceptional contributions to the development of their constituencies.
The Majority Leader of the House, Hon. Muktar Bajeh who bagged the award of excellence in recognition of being the most outspoken majority leader of the seventh assembly and project execution appreciated the press corps for the award.
He said the award came to his as a surprise as he didn’t know anyone was watching this modest contributions to his constituents.
Hon. Bajeh described the award as catalyst that would spur him to do more for his people.
Earlier, chairman of the Assembly Press Corps, Felix Udebu congratulated all the awardees saying the awardees was carefully selected for their contributions to the development of their constituencies and the state in general.
Mr Udebu said the awardees where carefully selected through the eagle eyes of the journalists covering the assembly of the lawmakers.
