
Chief George Ojo, Kogi SIEC Commissioner Promises to Serve Diligently
The newly appointed Permanent Member/Commissioner on the board of the Kogi State Independent Electoral Commission, Chief George Funsho Ojo has promised to serve diligently in contributing his quota according to the dictates of the laws that establish the commission.
He disclosed this in a church thanksgiving service held yesterday at Holy Family Catholic Church, Odolu – Kabba in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area, the program which was attended by dignitaries from all walks of life to appreciate and celebrate God for the opportunity given to him to serve at this time.
He commended Governor Yahaya Bello for finding him worthy to be appointed in such a noble commission in the state, stressing that he will not disappoint the confident repose in him.
He also eulogized the Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Prince) Matthew Kolawole and other members who gave him a clean slate when he was screened at the assembly, promised to continue to uphold the sanctity of the constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria as amended.
