CHIEF ONOJA MOURNS LATE ABU EGBITI, DESCRIBES HIS DEATH AS SUDDEN

The Deputy Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Chief (Dr.) Edward Onoja is gravely shocked over the demise of former Chief Administrator of Ofu Local Government Area of the State, Late Hon. Abu Sule Egbiti.

In a Statement availed to newsmen in Lokoja by his Chief Press Secretary, Promise Emmanuel, Chief Onoja describes the Late Abu Egbiti as an outstanding individual who was enthusiastic about family values, and the development of his people.

According to him: “Even as no mortal can question God, it is with great sadness that I received news of the sudden passing away of Hon. Abu Sule Egbiti. Our paths fortunately crossed in the City of Lokoja in 2005/2006, which until his death remains indelible.

“He was one young Kogi man whose enterprise spanned various branches and clinched dealership with DSTV, the entertainment company owned by MultiChoice Group.

“I am also glad that when God brought my boss and I, his quest to become Chief Executive of Ofu LGA was divinely brought to fruition by the grace of almighty God. Today, your legacy of a befitting Palace in your LGA for the Ejeh of Ofu stands to your credit forever”.
Divinely just yesterday, We prayed with him as he lay down seeking God’s mercy,but sadly waking to the news of his demise today,” Chief Onoja lamented.

In stressing the vanity of life, he counseled that humans, especially the younger generation, must prioritize the place of God, asking Him for long-life and perfect health conditions to carry out their daily activities which tops any other desires.

Chief Onoja says the Late Abu Egbiti was a gallant man who was dogged, courageous and God fearing. He offers his sincere condolences to the bereaved family, friends, and colleagues of the deceased, and prays God grants his soul, eternal rest.
