The National Association of Kogi State Students (National Secretariat) congratulate Chief A.P.S Arogundade on his Conferment of the chieftaincy title ‘Amuwajoye of Ikoyi Ijumu Kingdom.’
The National President, Comr. Rachael Mojirola Balogun said that the philanthropist is deserving of the prestigious chieftaincy title following his antecedents in community building.
Otunba A.P.S Arogundade is a father to many, a selfless role model and a relentless community developer, a giver to a fault. Chief Arogundade is a passionate elder whose passion for the progress of not only his immediate community but all human community is unparalleled and worthy of emulation by all. Before his coronation, he has remained committed to what he believes in and continued to strife to build human capital across the state, hence the title ‘Amuwajoye.’
We profoundly believe in his capacity to help the people of Ikoyi in facilitating rapid growth for the kingdom.
We pray that God almighty grant him the wisdom, knowledge and the understanding he needs to deliver efficiently in the tasks ahead of him as the Amuwajoye of Ikoyi Kingdom.

APS is one of Nigeria’s leading ICT CEOs, driving development and innovation in the technology industry. He was the Managing Director of Sidmach Technologies, a company that delivers an array of tech solutions that make work faster and life easier.
APS, as he is fondly called, is a well-respected alumnus of the University of Lagos; he is also decorated with numerous certifications in ICT, Management and Executive Leadership both locally and overseas.
He has served in different top-level positions ranging from Executive Director Finance and Admin, to Executive Director of Sales and Marketing, Executive Director ICT Infrastructure, and Executive Director Software Solutions.
APS’ dexterity as a leader has led Sidmach to become Nigeria’s leading tech-solution provider in Education, Health, Finance, and Agriculture; partnering with globally recognized brands like Microsoft, HP, Sophos among others. In his position as Managing Director of Sidmach, the company has achieved back to back recognition in the Nigerian software industry.
On November 16, 2018, he won the award of “I.T Personality of the year” at National Information Technology Merit Awards 2018. Sidmach in 2017, was awarded the “Best Indigenous Software Company of the Year” and “Technology Information Hub of the Year”, whilst the Managing Director was himself conferred with the award of the “ICT Man of the Year” at the Beacon of ICT Awards 2017. In the same year, APS was also the recipient of the “African Leader of Integrity Merit Award” for Excellence in Corporate Governance ICT Development towards the Development of Nigeria, Africa Continent, and the entire World, in Accra Ghana. He also led Sidmach to be recognized, in 2017, as one of the “Most Innovative in Education” by Business Day Newspaper, and also as “Most Innovative Education Solutions Provider of the Year” by Technology Africa during its “Titans of Technology Awards” in 2016.
APS is a distinguished Fellow of Nigeria Computer Society of Nigeria (FNCS); Fellow, Institute of Management Consultant and Fellow, Association of Corporate Governance Professionals of Nigeria. He is also a Member of Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (MCPN) and Member of Nigerian Institute of Directors (M. IoD).
