*FAAC NOMINATES AND APPROVED MUKADAM ASIWAJU ASIRU IDRIS, FCA, AS CHAIRMAN LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE FOR HOSTING THE 2020 NATIONAL COUNCIL ON FINANCE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT(NACOFED)*
The Federal Account Allocation Committee(FAAC) after her meeting on 17th September, 2020 as chaired by the FAAC chairman who also doubles as the Honourable minister of Finance, Budget and national planing; Dr Zaina Shamsuna Ahmed reached a unanimous decision to hold a NACOFED conference proposed for November 2020 in Abuja. The quorum committe of state commissioners of Finance also in onerous voice appointed the kogi state commissioner of Finance, Budget and Economic planning who is also an erstwhile chairman of all finance commissioners in Nigeria, Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA as the chairman of the local organising committee (LOC) for the conference.
The conference is being organised by FAAC in collaboration with the federal ministry of Finance, Budget and National planing, which is planned to hold in November, 2020 in Abuja.
The FAAC chairman speaking, said the choice of Mukadam Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA, as the chairman to organise a benefitting conference is predated on his empirical credential as a diligent goal getter whose organizational skills and administrative prowess speaks volume, hence, it will help to organize and appealing and result oriented conference. We trust in your capacity and competence to deliver on the task as you have always done in past assignments.
The terms of reference of the committee includes
– To develope modalities for the successful hosting of the conference
– To identify a suitable venue for the conference
– To identify relevant topics for presentations at the conference
– To determine the Financial implications for the event
– To make any other recommendation(s) on other logistics for the successful hosting of the conference.
