Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi today took the serious flooding that is currently affecting the people of lokoja and koto karfe before the director general of NEMA.
The DG AIR VICE MARSHALL M.A. MOHAMMED commended the visit of the Senator on the problems confronting his constituents and the nation at Large, As he assured him of quick intervention.
Mr. MOHAMMED therefore exchange views on the needs of the victims of the flooding in Koto and Lokoja. Senator Smart Adeyemi therefore said over 8thousand people had their houses destroyed; over 3 hectares of farm lands and crops destroyed because of the natural disasters.
Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi said the federal government need to come and save over Eight thousand people have been rendered homeless due to the unfortunate flooding.
The DG AIR VICE MARSHALL MOHAMMED thanked him for the visit and assured him of quick response within a reasonable time.
