FORMER HoS OF KOGI STATE THANKS GOD FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER
It was celebration galore today as Elder (Mrs.) Deborah Ogunmola, the
immediate past Head of Service (HOS) in Kogi State, hosted personalities across the state at a thanksgiving ceremony organized by her family to thank God for His gracious grace over her throughout her career days as a civil servant. The thanksgiving took place at the Rhema Chapel International Churches, Lokoja.
Scores of people from all walks of life especially top civil servants, members of her community, Ogori, friends and well-wishers were in attendance to rejoice with her for having a meritorious service in both Kwara and Kogi States before her retirement earlier this year.
The ebullient Mrs. Ogunmola was full of joy during the thanksgiving ceremony; she attributed her success story to God who took control of all her activities while in service. She said there were times that challenges reared its ugly head, but God took absolute control. She advised those still in service to work with the fear of God and be dedicated to their duties.
Her husband, Mr. Ogunmola and the children were on hand to support her and to thank God for His kindness and support for his/their only wife and mother respectively.
The Resident Pastor of the church, Pastor George encouraged Mrs. Ogunmola to be steadfast in her service to God. A special prayer was offered by the pastor for the family.
Gifts were presented to Elder (Mrs.) Ogunmola by women groups and individuals from the church.
This special service will be remembered for long by the entire family.
