The Gamji Members Association (GAMA) in Kwara State has rejoiced with one of its members, Dr. Mohammed Ghali Alaaya, on his appointment as a non-executive director of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPCL) by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
GAMA, an association committed to the ideals of the late Sardauna of Sokoto, Sir Ahmadu Bello, described Ghali’s appointment as meritorious, noting that the appointee earned the position through the dint of hard work and commitment to the growth of Kwara State.
In a statement signed by its President General, Alhaji Mohammed Tunde Akanbi and Director of Publicity, Alhaji Abdullahi Olesin, GAMA said it received the news of Ghali’s appointment with a lot of excitement.
“We make bold to say that Dr. Ghali’s appointment is well deserved. We know as a fact that the appointee is a thorough, committed, hardworking and a loyal person to every cause he believes in. We are confident that he will deliver on his new mandate as he had done in his previous assignments, locally and nationally,” GAMA stated.
The association thanked Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for finding Ghali worthy of the appointment into the board of NNPCL.
“We wish to appreciate His Excellency, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and thank him immensely for his singular effort in nominating one of us, Dr. Ghali Alaaya into the board of NNPCL as Non Executive Director. What a well deserved appointment! We pray Allah to continue to be with His Excellency, his family, Kwara State and the nation at large,” GAMA stated.
While wishing Ghali an eventful and successful tenure at the NNPCL, GAMA sought Allah’s guidance and protection for him in the course of carrying out his onerous duty.
The GAMA also congratulated the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari and the entire people of Ilorin Emirate over the appointment of their son into the board of NNPCL.
