Governor Bello inaugurates twin mosques projects,executed by Hon. Murktar Bajeh

Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, has urged the adherents of various religions to continue to ensure tolerance as it is an ingredient for peaceful coexistence.

He gave the advice during the inauguration of two mosques built in Adavi and Okene local government areas of the state by the member representing Okehi state constituency, at the Kogi State House of Assembly, Murktar Bajeh.

Represented by the State All Progressives Party, APC Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Bello, the governor explained that when there is peace amongst the people development would thrive.

He commended the Lawmaker for investing in such project as it is not just giving back to the community but fulfilling part of the prescription of Prophet Mohammmed.

Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Mathew Kolawole, describe Murktar Bajeh as a focused lawmaker who had always projected the interest of his people.aslo the deputy speaker Rt Hon, Ahmed Ahmed described the member representing Okehi as a man whose love for the growth and development of his Constituency knows no bound, commended his efforts.

Treasurer, Adavi Local Government Area, George Segun Aliba described the twin projects as a necessity nothing that they would contribute to building the faith of the people.

The Chief Imam of Ebiraland, Alhaji Salihu Abere prayed God to continue to bless the lawmaker and applauded him for building the mosques for the Muslims in the areas.

In a remark,The member representing Okehi state constituency, Murktar Bajeh who is also the chief whip of the House, said he was inspired to execute the projects because in everything anybody those God must be put first.

According to the lawmaker, he is just a year and six months in office but before the expiration of his tenure he would have built five mosques across the five local government areas of the central senatorial district.

He appreciated Governor Yahaya Bello for giving him the opportunity to represent his people at the assembly.

In the meantime, the Speak, Prince Mathew Kolawole lead some lawmakers and the APC state Chairman to the Palace of the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, Alhaji Ado Ibrahim on a new year homage.

He praised the royal father for his continued fatherly advice to the government and people of the state.

Responding, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland who is also the Acting Chairman, Kogi State Traditional Council of Chiefs, appreciated the speaker and his entourage for the visit and commended them for their effective representation of their constituents.

He called for more cooperation among them as that is the only way development can be achieved.
