His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello is a liberal personality with impeccable character.
GYB was able to break the jinx of tribal jingoism and religious bigotry in Kogi State.
A good epitome of this was his egalitarianism in sharing appointments, spreading of infrastructural development Projects across Kogi State and also despite a practicing muslim he deemed it fit to build a chapel in government house, this which had not been in existence since the creation of Kogi State.
In a nutshell Kogites are witnessing peace existence irrespective of tribe and religion.
There is absolute cohesion and unity in the State.
Through his all inclusive government and gender equality he ensured a democratic process of elected women across the 21 LGA’s, Councillors and also appointment of Women in his government for the purpose of balancing.
Recently, the Governor was awarded by National Council for Women Society (NCWS) in collaboration with Global Gold Consult being the “Most Gender Sensitive Governor in Nigeria”.
Governor Yahaya Bello has always been an advocator of the youths as majority of his appointees and elected officers are youths.
The Governor is having a good patronage and rapport with them and enjoying the support of the youths.
It is also worthy of note that His Excellency, Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello has Zero tolerance for Insecurity.
With his Pragmatic approach in tackling insecurity, we have continued to enjoy tranquility since his emergence. The Governor visits the security personnel in the forest, Through the hills, valleys and waters he moves.
GYB is a Commander not from the comfort of office but with the men in the trenches. That’s what protective leaders are made of. He had received several awards as a Security Conscious Governor. No wonder he was appointed as the Chairman of the North Central States to tackle insecurity.
Note: These are few amongst the many monumental and laudable efforts of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello in Kogi State.
