Groups Enduorse Taufiq Isa As Next Ijumu Chairman

Different groups in Ijumu local government area have converged in Odokoro-Gbede, the country home of Alh. Taufiq Isa to massively endorsed him as the next Elected Chairman of Ijumu local government area.
National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, Kogi Movement For Good Governance,KMGG, and Ijumu Grassroots Movement, IGM, are the reputable groups that came out Enmass to endorsed the present Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of kogi state on Security in Ijumu, Alhaji Taufiq Isa.
In a joint speech delivered by the secretary of ljumu Grassroots Movement, Dele Olawale said youths from three recognised Associations are here in Odokoro-Gbede to unveiled the decision of the majority to the people, adding that part of the resolution was to give maximum support to the SSA as the next Chairman of Ijumu local government area.
He further said during the period of Hon.Taufiq as Administrator,he did demostrated his genuine love for his people ” the SSA has impressed us so much, by ensuring the dividends of democracy spreads across all districts of Ijumu, we are indeed grateful to our incoming Chairman,”he stressed.
Hon. Olawale thanked the Executive Governor, Alh. Yahaya Bello for the recognition given to their son, saying Taufiq Isa is the choice of the people.
In his response, Hon. Taufiq appreciated the efforts of the groups saying that he was surprised seeing such crowd in his residence, at Odokoro-Gbede, according to him, “the three groups paid surprised visit to to me, I was not aware of there coming but I thank God for the support given me by the youth and women in Ijumuland.
In his response, Hon. Taufiq thanked the convened of the endoirsement, been carried out by the three Associations, he therefore appreciated the efforts of the groups stressing that the youth took him unaware as they did not reveal their endorsement moves to him, though, l wish to sincerely commend the the leadership of the groups for taking thief time to visit his residence.
Hon Taufiq showed his unalloyed and maximum support for the Executive Governor of kogi state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for the recognition given to him to serve, ” I thanked the Governor who gave me the opportunity to serve NY people”, he said.
