GROUPS LAUD GOVERNOR BELLO ON APPOINTMENT OF HAJIA HABIBAT OYIZA TIJJANI

The Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello continued to receive accolades and encomium on the promotion and appointment of the Former Treasurer of Okene Local Government Area, Hajia Habibat Oyiza Tijjani as Director of Finance and Accounts into Kogi State Civil Service.
The Groups which included Local Government Areas, Kogi State NULGE Chapter, Women Group, Forum of Council Leaders in Kogi State as well as friends and well wishers, all commended the Governor for considering one of them worthy of recognition and elevation to the present position.
The Council Chamber of the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Lokoja became a beehive of activities as the new Director continued to receive visitors and well wishers who were on appreciation, congratulatory and solidarity visits.
The Groups descried the new Director’s zeal, commitment, dedication, loyalty, transparency and focus in the task of handling her present assignment as the Chairperson of Local Government Special Audit Committee on the Review and Harmonization of Financial Regulations and Guidelines of Local Government in the State as a launching step to Hajia Habibat Tijjani to stardom and prayed to God to guide and direct her well in the new office.
Speaking on behalf of the Kogi State NULGE Chapter felicitation, the Union Treasurer, Comrade Sanusi Salawu Inyanya hailed Hajia Habibat‘s appointment as a call to service which the union believed, she will make Local Government proud by excelling well in the new office.
He charged all other principal and management staff in the 21 Local Government Areas of the state to emulate the Former Okene LGA Treasurer to serve their areas meritoriously that will earn them recognition outside their Local Government Areas.
Comrade Sanusi Salawu assured that the State NULGE will continue to partner with the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs for enhanced welfare for staff in the 21 LGAs in the State.
In her remark, the new Director of Finance and Accounts in the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hajia Habibat O. Tijjani who was elated for the show of love by various groups continue to be exemplary in discharging her duties.
She said, her appointment is a call to service which she will discharge to the admiration of all and appreciated the state government for considering her worthy in the present capacity.
The Director of Finance and Accounts charged the principal and management staff in the 21 LGAs to brace up, creative and bring their experiences to bear in their present capacities to make and move Kogi State forward.
