I write to congratulate you on your victory in the November 11, 2023 gubernatorial election in Kogi State. I rejoice with you and all residents of Kogi State because i believe that yours will be an administration where the interest of the people and the state is protected.
Your victory is a victory for all Kogites irrespective of political affiliation as it shows that the hand of the Almighty God is truly on our dear state. Your emergence is a major pointer that Politics today is tilting towards meritocracy and development.
You contested the election against several qualified fellow sons of Kogi State whom I am confident also has the best interest of Kogi State at heart in offering up themselves for service and believe they will continue to put the interest of our State first in all their actions.
Your campaign slogan of Consolidation is one which encapsulates the yearning of the masses and I expect that you will build on the foundation of His Excellency, Alhaji Yahayah Adoza Bello CON by hitting the ground running as you face this daunting task. The task ahead is enormous but the fact that you have goodwill from across board should make the task a bit easy for you and i hope that you will use this goodwill to make Kogites proud of you.
Let your word be your bond, which is what i have come to know about your person. I pray that God will give you the wisdom to carry our people along, and maintain the peace and tranquility which the state is enjoying at the present time.
I look forward to seeing the continuation of those projects that worked well, while making changes to those which have not worked so well. I equally believe that your administration will find avenues to create more jobs for as many as wish to work, while maintaining a culture where campaign promises are deliver.
May God guide and protect you, all the members of your family, the people of Kogi State and their neighbors; and the whole of Nigeria and its people.
Once again, congratulations Your Excellency and thanks for your tenacity, steadfastness and consistent courage.
