Again, fate has brought Adavians to another crucial threshold in the history of Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State when the good people of the area will be expected to shop for a candidate to represent them at the Kogi State House of Assembly come 2023.
The people of Adavi Local Government Area have been at the crossroads, for several times before now, by not getting it right to elect the right individuals to represent them adequately in the House of Assembly.
The consequences of our choice in the past are obvious and damning, today, we are witnesses to the sorry state and retrogressive development seen in the area.
Democracy is the best form of governance world-wide because it places in the hands of the electorate the power to choose who governs them. But posterity places on the people of our Local Government Area to exercise that power with maximum discretion to elect someone who will adequately and effectively represent them well at the Kogi State House of Assembly come 2023.
The legislative arm of government is there to provide an untapped opportunity to make a positive difference through people – centred legislation and effective oversight will usher in the rule of law, prosperity, justice, equity, progress, peace and development. The enterprising and resourceful packed people of Adavi Local Government Area have not well been represented well in the Kogi State House of Assembly in recent time. This is unfair and a disservice to our people. It is against this ugly development that Hon. Musa Yunusa Ozovehe (Alias Ozor baba) is humbly presenting himself to the people of Adavi Local Government Area, for election into the Kogi State House of Assembly, Lokoja in the forth- coming general.
His Mission:
Hon. Ozovehe is one of the illustrious sons of Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Nigeria, a well brought up gentleman, a philanthropist and a high – flying politician is ready to rescue the area from unemployment that is staring the youths in their faces by supporting both state and federal government in their efforts to create jobs for them, move out a greater number of Adavians from poverty level, support Kogi State government’s effort to provide adequate security for the people, help to provide qualitative education, healthcare delivery, as well as provide good roads, potable water and power supply to the teeming people of the area.
He is ready to provide adequate representation in the House of Assembly if elected. One advantage he has over others that may be contesting with him is that he has lived and dined with the people, he knows where the shoe pinches them.
The Call to Serve:
Mr. Ozovehe has been receiving calls and encouragements across the local government area to come out to contest for the Kogi State House of Assembly in 2023 in order to lead them out of the woods.
These calls have been coming from the youths, artisans, students, market women, professional bodies, religious organizations and the indigents and after much consultations and persuasions from his party faithful (APC), family members and the general public, Hon. Musa Yunusa Ozovehe has agreed to heed to their calls to run for the 2023 general elections as a member of the Kogi State House of Assembly to represent the amiable people of Adavi (state) constituency In –Sha Allah.
Voluntarily, people from various communities in the constituency are re-grouping into vanguard to give him their maximum support. Hon. Ozovehe is not a novice to Adavi politics. He stands tall among his peers politically. He has an unstained relationship with every cadre of people in the local government. He is close to all and never distances himself from the aspirations of his people. He has joined politics in order to use it as a bigger platform to solve myriads of problems confronting the people and he has promised to use politics to bring even development to all communities in Adavi Local Government Area. He has set achievable goals for himself if elected by the people of the Adavi constituency in 2023 and to represent them in order to make reasonable impact in the area.

His Profile:
Hon. Musa Yunusa Ozovehe was born on 2nd October, 1984, he hails from Adavi Local Government Area of Kogi State. He is an Anebira (Ebira) by tribe and an ardent Moslem.
He attended Community Primary School II located in Elelenwo in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State between 1991 and 1996 where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate. Young Musa thereafter proceeded to Staff Comprehensive Secondary School, Ajaokuta, Kogi State between 1996 and 2002, he came out with flying colours. His performance granted him admission to one of the most prestigious universities in Nigeria, The University of Abuja where he graduated with a degree in Public Administration in 2012. In 2021, Hon. Ozovehe graduated from the Nigerian Defence Academy where he obtained a master’s degree in the same discipline (MPA).
He is an active member of the institute of Organizational and Administrative Risk Management, a global and highly reputable organization whose cardinal programme and action plans are focused on risk management. He is a social reformer, public officer and tax expert with a wide range working experience.
Hon. Ozovehe is a staunch member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the ruling party in Kogi State and at the national level. He is one of the pillars and financiers of the party in Adavi Local Government Area. He has greatly contributed to the popularity of the party in the area and even beyond.
He is happily married and God has graciously blessed the marriage with lovely children.
