INFORMATION COMMISSIONER STRESSES GYB’S UNITY INITIATIVE
The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Kingsley Fanwo has commended the unity initiative of his Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello.
Hon. Fanwo made the commendation at Ankpa during the interactive Townhall meeting with stakeholders of the Ankpa, Olamaboro and Omala Local Government Areas.
The erudite Commissioner pointed out that all GYB’s developmental initiative are spread across the three Senatorial Districts thereby leaving no Community marginalized or complaining of bias, tribalism or nepotism appreciating GYB for his swift response to security Challenges through the supply of Patrol vans, ICT gadgets and the whistle blower machineries adding that the security agencies in Kogi State are one of the best in the country.
He described the rehabilitation of Ankpa 
Township roads as one of GYB’s several road rehabilitation projects across the three Senatorial Districts adding that GYB built a chapel in Government House to prove that he is not religion bias. Hon. Fanwo noted that operation light up Kogi East has greatly improved the economy and wellbeing of the people commending GYB for being the first Governor to visit school of Health Technology, Idah and for constructing hospitals in villages and communities across the State commending the blue-roof schools in the State.
He commended the giant stride of GYB in agriculture stressing that Kogi State is one of the leading producers of Cassava and Cashew in Nigeria adding that the on-line radio has improved Information and Communications in the State.
The sagacious and indefatigable workaholic Commissioner appreciated the Royal Fathers whom he described as our spiritual and moral compass appealing to them to accord GYB their support in his Presidential ambition.
The Onu Ankpa, Alhaji Abdulmalik Zubair expressed his appreciation to Hon. Fanwo and GYB for their laudable programmes appealing that the Light up Kogi East project be fast tracked. He appealed to GYB for the rehabilitation of Omala roads appreciating the reconstruction and rahabiliatation of some roads adding that GYB has really done a lot for the State and so deserves maximum support.
The representative of the Youths Samson Okpanachi appreciated the Governor’s interest in education adding that GYB attended the Convocation Ceremony of College of Education, Ankpa and gave immediate employment to some of the best students appealing for soft loans to empower the youths on self-reliance.
The market women representative appreciated and prayed for the success of GYB in the 2023 Presidential Election emphasizing that the Federal Market Money for women empowerment are not getting to the target recipients appreciating GYB for ensuring that all Vice- Chairpersons in Local Government Councils are women of proven integrity.
