Isa Umar Pledges Determination to Dynamic Representation.

Member Representing Lokoja | Constituency at the kogi State House of Assembly, Hon. Isa Umar, has pledged his determination to providing dynamic, equitable and purposeful representation at the house.
According to him, his topmost priority is to provide his constituents with quality stewardship through the enactment of people oriented legislations and raising matters of public concern on issues bothering the wellbeing of his people.
Hon. Isa, who made the pledge during the weekend declared that as a comrade, he would bring his wealth of experience to bear on his assignment, saying he would strive hard towards ensuring that the opinion and voices of the people of Lokoja, are heard during his tenure.
He tasked the educated ones to create awareness in the society for people to know the primary functions of a legislator, and promised to lobby towards ensuring that whatever belongs to Lokoja constituency is given to it.
The legislator said that his main duty at the house is not execute developmental projects but to make laws, and however explained that lawmakers can complement the effort of the executive arm in embarking on the execution of projects whenever they are given constituency allowances.
He made a passionate appeal to all citizens in his constituency to bury their political, religious or tribal differences and live in peace for the unity and progress of the constituency, saying nothing meaningful would be achieved in a chaotic situation.
He called on the youths not to remain idle but engage themselves in productive ventures to make them become self reliant in the society, and appreciated them for their support.
