The Kogi state Auditor General ,Hajji Yakubu Yusuf Okala has felicitated with Governor Yahaya Bello,his cabinet members and kogites as the State turned 31 years old and mark under his Progressive administration.
Okala in his felicitation message to the state Governor and the generality of the people of state explained that Governor Yahaya Bello’s administration has raised the bar of purposeful leadership and gargantuan achievements in the state the period under reviewed.
According to him, Governor Yahaya Bello major selling points are in the areas of security, education, enduring road network across the state, State of art healthcare facilities[ Urban & Rural juxtaposition policy] Youths and women employment as well as prompt payment of workers salary and training.
Okala noted with delight that the construction of the first ever flyover bridge in Lokoja, President Muhammad Buhari public square in Lokoja, the remodeled State owned Specialist hospital,massive road rehabilitation and reconstruction across the state and embarkment of Rivers Niger in Lokoja are pointer to the Governor’s desire and dream to catapults it to a blissful eldorado of sustainable socio-economic growth and development.
He maintained that the Governor since he emergence as the number one citizen of the state as rekindled hope and confidence in the people through his leadership style saying it is in consonance with the spirit of Kogi state creation which brought about reuniting and re-union of the people who had co-existed Peaceful within a common polity for over seventy years before they were administratively separated in 1976 States creation exercise .
Okala enjoined the citizens to continued to provide their unwavering support and show understanding by fostering peaceful co-existence mong themselves to enable government under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello to do more for them.
