Women in Kogi Central Senatorial District have been charged to support, campaign and vote enmass for all the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming general elections. Madam Orahachi Alabi, the Okene local government women leader stated this in her speech during the PDP women rally at Otutu in OKENE LGA. She said the women rally was to sensitize women in Ebiraland to wake up from their sleeping slumber ahead of 2023 general elections. The okene local government party women leader who was the convener of the rally said the party parade credible candidates that made landmark achievements in their chosen careers before venturing into politics. Madam Orahachi stressed that women be up and mobilize well for Bar. Hadiza Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, the PDP candidate for Kogi central senatorial district. She maintained that Bar. Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan was familiar with women’s problems as she is out to salvage women from suffering and bandage of neglect. The OKENE LGA PDP women leader pointed out that as soon as campaign is lifted by INEC, they will swing into action to reach out to all nooks and crannies of Ebiraland to canvass for support and vote for Bar. Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan, the pride of womenfolk in Ebira politics and Kogi state at large. She again charged the party women leaders in the remaining four local government areas to be steadfast and work for the victory of their own daughter, Bar. Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan who will definitely make Ebira proud in quality representation in the National Assembly. 
The Kogi central PDP women rally was attended and witnessed by many party members, faithfuls and supporters from across the five local government areas that included PDP women leaders- Barikisu Aliyu (Adavi), Comfort Sheidu (Okehi), Eunice Sadiku (Ogori/Magongo), and Rose (Ajaokuta) as well as Hon. Salihu Adeku- former Supervisor for Health in Okene LGA and present PDP Secretary for the local government, Hon Sheidu Salawu, former PDP chairman for OKENE LGA among other party faithfuls.
