Kogi Speaker celebrates an Erudite Professor of European Languages, Professor S.J Timothy-Asobele at 71
Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole has joined family members, friends, associates and wellwishers to celebrate an educationist par excellence, philanthropist and community leader, Professor S.J Timothy-Asobele on his 71st birthday celebration.
The Speaker said it is deserving to celebrate an icon, a great philosopher and erudite professor whose passionate love for the overall development of not only Okunland, Kogi State but the entire mankind through his works cannot be over emphasized.
He noted that Professor Jide Timothy-Asobele is a recipient of many awards and one man that truly loves his people as shown in his close to four decades of sojourn as an education colossus in the University of Lagos, Akoka.
He said his giant efforts at securing admissions, job opportunities, donations and general support to whoever comes around him without bothering where they come from has shown he is indeed a great blessing to the people of Okun nation and Kogi State.
He described Professor Jide Timothy-Asobele as a historian and great writer who has published hundreds of books in his field and community related development topics and a father figure who can go extra miles in encouraging the upcoming generation to see education as a major pillar of success in life, indeed he is a role model to the younger generation.
It is on this note that I, Rt. Hon. Prince Matthew Kolawole, on behalf of my family, Kabba/Bunu State Constituency, the entire members of the 7th assembly, management and staff of the Kogi State House of Assembly felicitate with and congratulate Professor Jide Timothy-Asobele, on his 71 birthday celebration.
He prayed that God will grant him more years ahead in good health and prosperity.
