Kwara Gov lauds NYSC on national cohesion Stephen Olufemi Oni, Ilorin

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman Abdulrazaq has lauded the role of National Youth Service Corps on national cohesion.

Gov. Abdulrazaq affirmed that the scheme is the only government project that has developed viable capacity over the years to face the contemporary challenges of unity among Nigeria’s populace.

The Governor made this known on Tuesday through the Supervising Commissioner for Ministry of Youth Development, Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade at the 2023 batch C stream 1 swearing in ceremony at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp, Yikpata.

He called on the members of the National Youth Service Corps to be focused and not relent in their efforts to use the scheme to further achieve more practicable and sustainable national cohesion.

Gov. Abdulrazaq also stressed his administration’s commitment to Corps members welfare and security in the state.

Meanwhile, the State Coordinator NYSC Kwara, Mr. Onifade Olaoluwa, has further appreciated the Governor for the recent donation of 500 Mattresses and ongoing perimeter fencing of the Orientation Camp, adding that the National Youth Service Corps commenced the 2023 batch C stream 1 orientation course on the Wednesday, 1st November which is expected to close on Tuesday, 21st November, 2023.
