following the recent election into the office of the President, National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), the newly elected President, Comr. Rachael Mojirola Balogun has expressed gratitude to all who have given their support in one way or the other towards the realisation of her dream.

This was contained in the Appreciation message made available to the public this morning.

APPRECIATION

Our thanks are obviously becoming insufficient for the love, support and the encouragement we have received from the beginning of this remarkable journey.As we express our gratitude, we are aware that our appreciation should not and would not be limited to uttering of words, but to live by them through commitment and dedication to the responsibilities we are saddled with.

We thank His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello who in his usual revolutionary manners has made another milestone in the history of Kogi State Students leadership engagement by challenging the status quo and conforming to a very tedious but desirable new normal where women and young girls are encouraged to take part in leadership world all over.

We specially appreciate the Chief of staff to His Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello, Hon. Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku and the entire Kogi State executive council for their undaunting support to the students community.
My profound gratitude goes to the sponsor of the convention, Hon. Muhammad Ali, an astute stakeholder and a staunch support system.
The forum of NAKOSS Leadership and stakeholders, the Senate, the over fifty thousand Students of Kogi State and all aspirants, we say a resounding thank you for your show of love, support, mentorship, advice and encouragement.

In the spirit of love and genuine passion for all inclusive and qualitative leadership, we humbly acknowledge that this victory does not belong to us alone but also to all the aspirants and the over fifty thousand Students of the National Association of Kogi State Students at home and in diaspora.
We therefore urge all and sundry particularly my fellow comrades who contested with me in the race to become the President of the association to join us in the same spirit of sportsmanship that characterized the whole process as we take NAKOSS a step higher, without thinking too much but loving greatly.

Again, we say we are grateful.
