The National President, National Association of Kogi State Students, Comr Rachael Mojirola Balogun commences her appreciation visits, storms college of nursing and midwifery Obangede.
She was received by the provost Mrs. Hannah Abraham Oziohu and the Dean of Students Affairs amidst jubilant students.
Mrs. Hannah Abraham Oziohu congratulating the President and her executive team on their recent election into office, raised concerns on the issue of allowance for medical students from the government. She urged the President to make this a part of her agenda in office.
While speaking, Comr. Rachael Mojirola Balogun expressed her gratitude in volumes for the warm reception of the school management and the entire Students of the school. She reacted to the issues raised stating that proactive steps have already been taken by her administration to ensure the welfare of the students of Kogi State is guaranteed. She highlighted that she is currently reaching out to various government agencies, NGOs and individuals for partnership on various students oriented programs that will benefit all and sundry.
On the issue of allowance for medical students, the National President stated that she has already invited the National president of Kogi state Medical Students on welfare packages for indigenous medical students of Kogi State. A collaborative frame work between her office and the office of the President of the body which is expected to begin to yield positive results soon is in place. She stressed.
