Once again, I appreciate you for the opportunity accorded me to stare the representative affairs of Mopamuro State Constituency at the State House of Assembly.
According to Hon Olawumi, Mopamuro State Constituency has witnessed some basic developmental retardation and as such this year 2024 should not be taken for granted in the spirit of business as usual. In the light of the above, while addressing quite some numbers of Mopamuro youth and stake holders in his Lokoja residence, he stresses the need for us as a people to be spiritually minded. In his word, “until we start seeing through the eyes of the scripture before we can actualize the future we dream of because spirituality is the foundation of every great society. Therefore, I admonish all of us to begin the year at the feet of the Lord through our spiritual fathers and traditional leaders if we must take full delivery packages God has in stalk for us in the year 2024 for the growth of our dear Constituency.”
It is on record that the Government of Alhaji Yahaya Bello has been magnanimous to Mopamuro Local Government in terms of political appointments for the past Eight years and no doubt we shall have more of such magnanimity from the incoming Governor of Alhaji Usman Ododo as contained in the speech of His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo and we shall make judicious use of such magnanimity to the fullness.
I want to use this medium to thank everyone home and abroad for the peace and harmony we enjoy in our Constituency which is burn out of mutual understanding and cooperation and I pray the fountain through which such strength is drawn shall not go dry during my representation and beyond, Honourable Olawumi expresses.
May God grant me the enablement to bring more of democracy dividends to our Constituency by the special grace of God; He added.
