NIGERIA UNION OF TEACHERS FELICITATES WITH GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO.
I, Comrade Thomas Ayodele, Chairman Nigeria Union of Teachers Kogi State wing on behalf of the members of the Union wish to use this auspicious occasion to felicitate with our amiable
Governor. His Excellency, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, and his loyal deputy, Chief Edward Onoja, his cabinet members and the entire good people of Kogi State on the celebration of the first year of their second term in office. We are pleased with your winsome achievements in the last five years especially in the area of agriculture, education, health care delivery, civil service reforms and empowerment of the youths and women politically, you conducted a rancour-free local government election which is currently the talk of the town in Kogi State.
As a Union, we are still faced with challenges and we are using this special occasion to appeal to the Governor to help the teachers to regain part of their lost glory especially in the area of adequate funding, payment of hundred percent salary to teachers and provision of materials to schools in the state.
We want to appreciate the current Federal Government for increasing the take home pay of teachers and the increase in retirement age.
We look forward to support your ambition to contest the 2023 presidential election. We pray for good health for you and your family.
