NNVS PASS A VOTE OF CONFIDENCE/CERTIFICATE OF CREDENCE ON RT HON. ABDULLAHI IBRAHIM ALI (HALIMS)

The Nigeria National Volunteer Service and Diaspora Affairs is saddled with the principle of volunteerism and impacting lives from the angle of public servants and private individuals, volunteerism in all facets of service is selfless and voluntary, the organization is the umbrella body of all NGOs in Nigeria under the office of secretary general to the government of the federation in the department of economic and political affairs.
We stumbled on this member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal constituency Rt. Hon Abdullahi Ibrahim (Halims) during commissioning some projects in his constituency and it amazed us at the level of projects and empowerment programs he unveiled to the people especially for women and youths within and beyond.
In our quest to know more about this distinguished member of House of Representatives, he revealed to us that his voluntary attitude was propelled by his believe in the people that elected him and the responsibility attached to it, Rt. Hon (Halims) knew what it takes to represent the people having been a successful business man before vying into politics, to prove the narrative right, the practice before he came into politics was “take and give” but his idea about representation from his services as a member in the House of Assembly representing Ankpa 1 was “give and take’ meaning the electorates is sacrosanct in all strata of representation. No wonder he embarked on this massive projects and empowerment program across the three local government areas that made up the federal constituency.
Apart from sensitive and numerous bills and motions raised in the floor of the house, he has these physical projects displayed all over the areas of the federal constituency.
Construction of Angwa-Ogbe to Ojede road via Burial ground and YMC in Ankpa federal constituency. Construction of blocks of classrooms with furniture across Ankpa federal constituency, empower of over one thousand constituents, were equipped with different artisan materials consisting of Tricycles (Keke), Motorcycles, Sewing machines and vulcanizing machines and much more.
Educationally, Hon. Abdullahi (Halims) is not left out, he has reconstructed admin block of the Young Muslim Congress Secondary School, Ankpa; free enrollment of five hundred and one students for Jambs 2020 registration. In agriculture, he distributed over three thousand bags of NPK/Urea fertilizers across the three local governments he respresents.
Hon. Abdullahi Halims intervened by providing palliatives against covid 19 pandemic, he timely made prompt assistance to the gas explosion victims and cash donation to hospitalized victims.
As a show of responsibility he embarked on the massive employment through his office to federal ministries, parastatals and MDAs, notable amongst others are Ajaokuta Steel Company, Federal Polyetchnic Idah, Federal University Lokoja, NASRDA, Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Police Force, Civil Aviation Authority, Federal Medical Centres and much more.
Rt. Hon. Abdullahi (Halims) is not a firm believer in empowering individuals privately above providing projects to larger population of the electorates for posterity.
Nevertheless, he is described as the most charitable and approachable member because he will not close his eyes to the glaring needs of individuals with serious challenges, there are serious issues referred to him through the constituents office that were privately handled, which cannot be listed here because it’s purely unto God and an act of volunteerism he believes especially to the most vulnerables in the society and the less privileged.
Rt. Hon Abdullahi (Halims) is humility personified, approachable, and actually knows what it takes to represent the people.
The advocacy from the Nigeria National Volunteer Service is a political representative that knows how to serve especially fulfilling electoral promises should be allowed to represent the people for consistency and consolidation for proper performance. The activities of an old member cannot be compared to a second timer, experience is the best teacher in all ramifications of leadership. I hope our electorates will employ this policy to change the narrative to avoid experimentation of all kinds of perceived leaders.
Rt. Hon Abdullahi Halims is found worthy of our vote of confidence/certificate credence to spur him to more even in the remaining period as member representing Ankpa, Omala and Olamaboro federal constituency.
The state coordinator lead the Nigeria National Volunteer Service/ Diaspora affairs for this award.
And former senatorial candidate of labour party
