*NO GOVERNMENT HAS EVER RECOGNIZED PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES LIKE GOVERNOR YAHAYA BELLO. SAYS; SA ON PEOPLE WITH DISABILITY TO ADAVI LG*
The Special Adviser on People with Disability and Physically Challenged to the Executive Chairman of Adavi Local Government, Hon. (Mall) Abdulrahaman Onimisi Usman made this known on the 24th of June at the Adavi APC stakeholders meeting held at the council hall, and the book launching/unveiling of the Political and Leadership Wonders of Adoza, Vol. 1, Authored by Comr. A. Danjumah which was held on July 10th, 2021 at Taffari Hotel, and several other places.
Hon. Abdulrahaman Onimisi who gave series of testimony on what he has witnessed in the present government compare to previous administrations acknowledged and admitted that, he has been in politics for years and no government has ever recognized him. He added that sometimes in the past, he felt quitting was the best option because nobody seems to recognize his efforts because he is physically challenged, no sign of motivation from anybody talk more of reward but he had to encouraged himself because of his passion for politics. Now he can proudly say that there’s ability in disability, and physically challenged persons are part of present-day society and government.
Mal. Abdulrahman admitted that the present administration under the leadership of His Excellency, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello, the Executive Governor of Kogi State has recognized and given a sense of belonging to people with disabilities, and of course, my boss, the Executive Chairman of Adavi is emulating his boss and mentor in all ramifications. He’s running inclusive governance in Adavi LG,” Hon. Usman confirmed.
