NOW IS TIME FOR CREDIBLE 2023 PRESIDENTIAL ASPIRANTS OF SOUTH-EAST EXTRACTION ON APC PLATFORM TO INDICATE INTEREST IN THE NIGERIAN PRESIDENCY.
One sure thing is that power is not given to anyone but is taken by someone. A second sure thing is that South-East Nigeria has thousands of credible and capable individuals for Presidency of Nigeria.
A third sure thing is that conceding 2023 Nigerian Presidency to the South-East would not be doing the region any favours. Both APC and Nigeria need President of South-East extraction for their unity, growth and sustainability.
However, presidential aspirants of South-East extraction on APC platform in 2023 must now indicate interest in contesting for the office on APC platform.
Contesting for Nigeria’s Presidency is not for the faint-hearted nor is it for the reticent or ambivalent. In respect of presidential aspiration by South-Easterners on APC platform, it also requires individuals who must submit themselves to scrutiny by South-East APC members before the best of them would be presented to both APC and general Nigerian electorate for them to vote for South-East’s considered choice of presidential candidate.
Any South-East APC person who thinks that he/she could win APC presidential ticket or win Nigeria’s presidential election without first getting majority of South-East APC endorsement, must be naive. Such wayward thinking belongs in the past, it never worked and it will never work for any South-Easterner.
This is the time for 2023 presidential aspirants of South-East extraction on APC platform to let South-East APC members – through South-East APC Presidency Project 2023 – to know that they are seriously interested in contesting for Nigeria’s Presidency on APC platform in 2023.
Delay in expressing serious interest in the 2023 Presidency is dangerous.
