OBITUARY ANNOUNCEMENT
With gratitude to God Almighty , the family of Jegede in Ogori, Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State wish to announce the passing on to glory of the matriarch of the family, Mama Esther Iwalewa Anabisa Jegede, whose death occurred on Tuesday, 21st of December, 2021 at the glorious age of 99 years.
Mama who was born in 1922 is the mother of a renowned academia, the pioneer Vice Chancellor of the prestigious National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and the former Secretary to Kogi State Government , Professor Olugbemiro Jegede.
