
Olujumu Hails NAIC Managing Director’s Reappointment
The Olujumu of Ijumu Kingdom and Chairman Ijumu Local Government Area Traditional Council of Kogi State, His Majesty, Oba Williams Olusegun Ayeni has congratulated the Managing Director of Nigeria Agriculture Insurance Corporation (NAIC), Mrs. Folashade Joseph on her reappointment for another 4 years in office.
President Muhammadu Buhari had approved Mrs. Folashade Joseph’s reappointment in Monday 25th January 2021 following the expiration of her first 4 years in office.
The Ijumu Paramount Ruler in a congratulatory message described the reappointment as a reward for hard work, dedication and selfless service to the country.
Oba Ayeni noted that the appointee had distinguished herself as an upright, incorruptible and worthy daughter of Ijumu in the discharge of her duty.
He said the appointment did not come as a surprise, as the Managing Director who is a proud daughter of Ijumu Kingdom had demonstrated capacity, competence and dexterity in carrying out her assignments.
He thanked President Muhammadu Buhari for the honour which according to him is a demonstration of the love of the President for the people of Ijumu.
“Mrs. Folashade Joseph has shown the whole world that women all it takes to deliver if giver the opportunity to serve. We are proud of her and on behalf of the Ijumu Local Government Traditional Council and the good people of Ijumu Kingdom, I congratulate her on this feat” the Monarch stated.
Oba Ayeni noted that the reappointment is an honour to Ijumu Kingdom and Kogi State at large and expressed optimism that the appointee will justify the confidence of reposed in her.
He urged the people of Ijumu Local Government to support Mrs. Folashade Joseph especially in their daily prayers, saying the appointee must see her reappointment as a call for more service to the nation.
The Traditional Ruler also prayed God to grant her more wisdom, good health and protection as she pilot the affairs of the Corporation to enviable heights.
