Otunba APS Arogundade @ 63: Celebrating An Achiever and Philanthropist Per Excellence

This is the attribute of the person of Otunba APS Arogundade, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Sidmach Technologies Nigeria Limited.
Born on February 15th 1959, Otunba APS Arogundade in view of his love for Western education attended St. Barnabas Secondary School, Kabba between 1972-1976 for his secondary education.
He went to Kwara State College of Technology, Ilorin for his GCE Cambridge, Advanced Level in 1976 and 1978 and attended University of Lagos where he bagged his Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics in 1982.
The humility personified Otunba APS Arogundade who has traveled far and wide nations of the world has worked with both government and private organisations including oil companies where he rose to the current position of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Sidmach Technologies Limited.
As a philanthropist and grassroots politician, he is currently the Founder of APS Youth Foundation and also Chairman, All Progressives Congress APC Elders Advirory Council for Ijumu Local Government Area.
Otunba APS Arogundade is a member of many professional bodies including, President, Information Technology System and Security Professionals, member National Computer Society of Nigeria, Institute of Management to mention but a few.
Similarly, he has attended trainings and seminars both within and outside the country.
As family, friends, political associates and wellwishers celebrate Otunba APS Arogundade at 63, it is important to note that the celebrant is worth celebrating.
This is because even the Holy Bible pointed out that “… a Living dog is better than a dead lion”. This means, only the living celebrate.
His impact and impart on humanity is a clear demonstration of the whole duty of man on earth.
He has spent his life time, putting smiles on the faces of many Nigerian youths, widow and religious bodies.
He has single handedly sponsored the academic pursuit of many in Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, Secondary and Primary Schools.
This is an investment which has secured and is still securing the future of the young generation.
This philanthropist is indeed a worthy son of Ijumu and Kogi State in Lagos where he is well-known and outside the country.
As he adds another year, our prayer is that God give Otunba APS Arogundade more blessings and reasons to celebrate.
