The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State has nominated Barrister Aliu Isah for the position of the party State Assistant Publicity Secretary.
Barrister Isah replaces Hon. Muhammed Kabir who resigned his position as the State Deputy Publicity Secretary to pursue his electioneering campaign.
The nomination of Barrister Isah is contained in a letter dated 5th August 2022, which was written to the Kogi PDP Secretariat in Lokoja and Signed by the Chairman in Ofu Local Government Area, Mr Inda Audu Agbonika and Assistant Local Government Secretary, Elder Alidu Ube.
Barrister Aliu Isah nomination was reached from an extensive meeting held by party Stakeholders, Local Government Excos, and the Party Chairman from Igalaogba District of Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State.
Some of the party excos who endorsed the nomination of Barrister Isah as the State Assistant Publicity Secretary were Adaji John, Abutu Sunday, Hon. Sumaila Ademu, Hon. Sumaila Damodi , Idoko Edogbo, Moses Amedu, Bala Unekwu Suleiman,and Etubi Shugei
Other stakeholders of the party who signed for Barrister Isah includes Hon. Joe Musa, Hon. Sunday Simon, Hon. Mike Abuka, Hon. Okpanachi Attah, Hon. Sumaila Ademu and Hon. Shaibu Zekeri.
Also in the list were Mr. Friday Gabriel, Mr John Agada, Hon. Ayatu Yakubu, Hon. Abutu Daniel, Hon.Daniel Alikala, Hon. James Akowe, Hon. Isah Ameh, Hon. Mike Shaibu, Mr. Godwin Egbunu, Hon. Joseph Stephen, Hon. Yunusa Abuka, Hajia Larunba ukwenya, Hon. Abdul Attah and Hon. Tijani Achimugu.
Meanwhile, The People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) in Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State has reinstated Hon. Abutu Daniel as the PDP Local Government Secretary.
The reinstatement of Hon. Abutu Daniel was contained in a letter written to the State Secretariat of PDP which was signed by the Local Government Chairman Mr Inda Audu Agbonika and Assistant Local Government Secretary, Elder Alidu Ube.
The letter which was titled ‘REINSTATEMENT OF HON ABUTU DANIEL AS THE PDP LO GOVERNMENT SECRETARY’ reads “We wish to notify your Office that upon the receipt of the Withdrawal of Resignation/Assumption of Duty Letter from Hon Abutu Daniel who went to participate in the House of Assembly Primary and he lost.
“The Local Government Executives Committee have met and resolved that Hon. Abutu Daniel should resume His office as the PDP Local Government Secretary in the interest of the party and oneness. | Thanks for your Cooperation always”.
