Our attention has been drawn to a video by one Ade Akogun aka Angel from Efo-Amuro in Mopamuro LGA where he maligned and blackmail the person of our respected, vibrant and outspoken legislator Mopamuro State Constituency representative, Hon. Olawumi.
We should not have dignified you with response but to have derogatorily referred to our amiable, intellectual and easy-going Mopamuro Assembly representative comparing his Six months achievements to that of his Yagba counterparts. This is laughable from a myopic and parochial mindset of the author of the video.
It is unfortunate that you are not lettered to read this piece but we are glad your pay master should be lettered enough to digest it and regrettably explain to you words to words.
In a democratic setting, criticism that are constructive is welcome and Hon. Olawumi is open to such challenge when it is genuine and not from a paid nicompoop like Mr Ade Akogun.
The fact that you begged him to rent apartment for you in Lokoja for a frivolous reason of becoming a Bodyguard to Hon. Olawumi and he turned you down does not warrant this public ignominy you just brought to yourself. You still called him last year festive period for money which he gladly gave you.
It will interest you and the entire Yagba people as you right mentioned in your accusative video to itemise what other Yagba Assembly members have done that Hon. Olawumi has not achieved either on the floor of the hallowed chamber and or in their respective Constituency.
In addition, we challenge you to call your pay master for a town hall meeting to give achievements/stewardship acount vis-avis their 8years and Six months in office respectively and you will see how foolish you have been used to malign anointed man of the people because of a morsel despite your age.
Hon. Olawumi has by all standards recorded an enviable feats thus far within the space of Six months in office ranging from payments of hospital bills at Rehobot Hospital Mopa of which you are one of the beneficiaries when your wife had caesarean (CS) operation shortly after he won primary election. Even this year in its newness, Hon. Olawumi has paid and cleared the backlogs of hospital bills both in Mopamuro and another hospital in Lokoja. All these are verifiable.
More so, individual financial assistance in cash transfer which he wouldn’t want us to mention names because most of their requests are legitimate ones unlike your repeated disturbances for unreasonable financial assistance calls to Hon. Olawumi. Churches and associations donations are not left out runing to hundreds of thousands. He also attended all Mopamuro communities DAY with reasonable donations. All are verifiable.
I will like to bring to your consciousness and that of your bank roller that for the 8th Assembly to have made him the Chairman Committee On Appropriation And Budgeting is not by lobby but because of his track records in financial management. This has placed Mopamuro State Constituency in a better representation in the 2024 Appropriation Bill like never before. You will will be amazed in due course as event unfolds regarding that.
In the area of Student affairs, ranging from securing admission for over 50 to 100 students late last year into Tertiary institutions, this was not achieved without financial implication in the formof logistic. Go and verify.
Not only that, he has been working round the clock tirelessly on the floor of the house to see to the speedy relocation of College of Education Technical Kabba to the designated site in Mopa.
Go back to your bank roller and tell them that no amount of blackmail or character assassination on the person of Hon. Olawumi will deter him from his legislative duties and lobbying for democratic dividend for the good people of Mopamuro. The era of divisionary representation is gone in our Constituency and Hon. Olawumi is all out to unite his Constituents unlike how your pay master came only to divide and destroy the political arrangement of our previous political leaders.
I will advise you, angel of disunity and your cronies to change your ways this year as it has become old version. Get a life for yourself because your children are becoming adult to see you displaying fullishness right from their younger years till their adulthood. The same you has called Hon.Destiny and back stabbed some of those who you thought you are working for them.
Do not expect Hon. Olawumi to fund you for a purpose that is not his style, he is not perturbed and more focused than whoever is your pay master despite their antics to push off that which was supposed to come to Mopamuro at the composition of the 8th Assembly principal officials to another Constituency.
Who God has ordained no man can dethrone! The more you gather to pull him down the more God will elevate him.
Mopamuro shall be great in his tenure whether the devil and his agent like it or not.
