*Senator Smart Adeyemi Victory is Well Deserved*- Omiata
The member representing Yagba East State Constituency in the state Assembly Hon. Musa Jimoh Omiata has congratulated Distinguished Senator Smart Adeyemi on his victory at the Appeal Court seating in Abuja in the appeal case filed by the opposition parties over last year Kogi West Senatorial re-run election clearly won by the candidate of ruling party APC, the Distinguished Senator Adeyemi and declared winner by INEC.
He further express his dismay over the opposition parties hidden under unnecessary court cases to distract the ranking Senator from focusing on discharging his responsibilities as representative of the good people of Western Senatorial District. He therefore call on the opposition group in the spirit of sportsmanship to take advantage of the Tuesday 28th July Appeal Court judgement which had again reaffirmed the overwhelming mandates given to Senator Smart Adeyemi as reflection of the true wishes of the electorates at the poll. Hoping that stakeholders across board will cooperate with the Senator in his spirited efforts to bring development down to the grassroot.
Hon. Omiata expressed confidence on Federal Government commitment to completing the Kabba-Ilorin Federal Highway from the Aiyetoro end where work had stopped through Mopa-Isanlu-Egbe Section to Kwara axis judging by the relentless effort of Senator Adeyemi since assuming office late last year. He seized the opportunity to commend Gov Yahaya Adoza Bello led APC government on his people oriented program, various reforms and policy framework which has put the state on smart economic and sustainable development prospect. He reiterated the commitment of the state government to completing the Isanlu-Ijowa-Ejuku-Jege-Ife Olukotun-Igbagun – Iyamoye roads which he described as one of the priority projects of the New Direction Government.
He congratulate the entire Muslim ummah as we approach Eid-el Kabir.
