I, Hon. Gabriel Ibrahim Itodo, former SSA to the Governor of Kogi State on Project Monitoring, on behalf of my family, friends, political associates and the entire good people of my community rejoice with His Excellencies Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and Mr. Joel S. Oyibo, the new governor and deputy governor of Kogi State respectively on the occasion of their inauguration into office which comes up today the 27th day of January, 2024.
Your Excellencies, I pray that your leadership will provide that needed healings, hope and unity the State desires right now by ensuring a collective vision and helping to channel our energies and resources into the building of a new Kogi State.
Thank God, you are not a novice in good governance, you have been schooled and mentored by GYB on how to consolidate on your predecessor’s success stories. I am well-convinced that you will hit the ground running right away.
Sirs, I wish to humbly request on behalf of Kogites that you work untiringly as your usual manner in life to improve on the state economy, security strategies, poverty reduction, conducive environment for employment opportunities, uplift the spirit of state workers, and also to intensify the provision of quality infrastructure, education and health-care delivery to the good people of the State. Sirs, kindly build an all-inclusive government under your leadership irrespective of gender, creed and cultural background of the people. I know that your leadership has the capacity and capability to achieve these noble goals.
Your Excellencies, I will continue to support you and your new administration in my daily prayers. God will continue to direct your steps. I appeal to Kogites of all shade of opinions to support this new administration of Alhaji Usman Ododo. I wish you sound health and God’s guidance in the course of performing your new official duty. Your victory at the poll has rekindled our hope that better days lay ahead.
Once again, I want to sincerely felicitate with you, your families and the entire Kogites on this very important occasion. Have a glorious celebration!
