*Supreme Court Judgement: Okun Want More Gains of Democracy as Obaro of Kabba Congratulates GYB*
The Obaro of Kabba and Chairman Okun Area Traditional Council, Oba Solomon Dele Owoniyi has congratulated Governor Yahaya Bello on his recent victory at the Apex Court.
Oba Owoniyi in a Congratulatory Message said “On behalf of all the good people of Okunland both at home and in the diaspora, I warmly felicitate with Your Excellency over your stunning gubernatorial legal victory at the Supreme Court of Nigeria.”
The Okun Paramout Ruler explained that the victory is not just a testament of the will of the generality of the Kogi State electorate, but a culmination of astounding legal victories at the lower courts.
“This victory has finally made your mandate and tenure inexorable, incontestible, unalterable, irreducible and inescapable. Your victory has thus cleared the way for another four years of purposeful leadership.” he said.
He noted that Okunland share in the joy of the Governor, adding that “will continue to avail Your Excellency of our passionate, undiminished and undiluted support to your purposeful, determined and focused administration. I know and I am convinced that you have many good things in store for Okun people.”
The Obaro stated that Okun people look forward to the unleashing of multiple dividends of democracy in terms of more infrastructure, more siting of projects , more employments, more appointments, and more attention to the sundry and variegated needs of Okun people.
“It is our fervent prayer that this renewed tenure will usher in heightened peace, prosperity and monumental accomplishments. We earnestly wish Your Excellency more inspiration, wisdom and grace to pilot the affairs of our beloved Kogi State ,while we wish you robust health and Divine protection as you carry out your daunting and onerous State duties.” The Obaro added.
