The Jegede Family of Ogori, Kogi State, fixes Jan 20 & 21, 2022 For the Burial of Late Mama Esther Iwalewa Anabisa Jegede
The Jegede and Ajobiewe families and clans of Ogori, Ogori-Magongo Local Government Area of Kogi State have slated Thursday, 20 & Friday, 21st, January, 2022 for the burial of their late mother and the Matriarch of the family, Mama Esther Iwalewa Anabisa Jegede, who died on Tuesday, 21 December, 2021 at the glorious and accomplished age of 99 years.
According to the invitation notice issued by the family, the Lying-in-state will hold in Itiovie Hall at her residence, Ogori from 2pm Thursday, 20th January to 10am, Friday, 21st January, 2022.
The statement further mentioned that the Wake/Service of Songs will take place at the Cathedral of Saint Peter, Ogori by 4pm on Thursday, 20th January, 2022 while Funeral and Thanksgiving Service will hold at the Cathedral of Saint Peter, Ogori by 11am, Friday the 21st January, 2022.
The statement further notified the general public that the Interment will hold at the Community Cemetry immediately after the funeral service which shall be followed, by a brief reception at Saint Peter’s Primary School Ground, Ogori.
The Jegede family and clan have advised that COVID-19 protection/prevention Protocols will be strictly and comprehensively adhered to at all the constituent activities of the burial programme.
