Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello, the executive Governor of Kogi State is a bridge builder per excellence.
The emergence of Alh. Yahaya Bello as the Governor of Kogi state was divinely designed by the Almighty, but unfortunately those of us behind the scene did not see the finger of God.
The God of heaven said” I give leadership to whom I desire per time, Alh Yahaya Bello from Central senatorial district came and navigated through the storm of political agitators and finally sustained by God Who gave it.
Politicians are always driven by self without seeking God’s direction per time that’s why a lot of self seeking politicians golfed along the way.
Alh Yahaya Bello was prepared by God unknown to him that was why he scaled through all the challenges and agitations. The political lessons learnt from this scenario, is that, politics should be played with wisdom to avoid the injuries it will cause.
If to lead as Governor in the state is being in charge of people’s treasury and to dispense it with fear and trembling because it’s the people’s tax, unfortunately, this position is meant for one person per time, why these agitations, hatred, and sometimes wishing the person death.
I don’t think it’s worth the fight, what I expect and still wish for political class is politicking is a game, like contemporary sports, when all registered political parties having exercised the process of an election and somebody is lucky to win, the rest should support the winner instead of standing on the fence waiting for the failure of the winner “without knowing that the failure of one is a failure of all”
The success story of political emancipation and freedom to enjoy the full potentials of political game is total unity among the elites, the high and the low, poor or rich in the society.
Shun ethnicity and religious bigotry, rule with the fear of God because your leadership is tenured and whatever you do posterity will remember you.
It’s high time we stopped the fight after every election, if the aim is to lead the people, support whoever wins because no political party is devoid of rigging of an election process, but the party that has the advantage to rig the more wins, that’s the practice politically in all climes.
This administration of GYB/CEDO is focused on unity of the three senatorial districts, the introduction of EBIGO is an example of the synergy needed for us to move forward without much of agitations.
No wonder, Alh Yahaya Bello the Ebigo Governor has gone ahead to unite with his brothers Alh. Ibrahim Idris and Capt. Idris Wada who lead the state as Governors per time, the bridge building focused on the development of the state is legendary and posterity will remember you.
Your Excellency, this act of unity and bridge building will be misconstrued but as a man after God’s heart, please don’t be distracted because the lasting legacy is that you left the state United.
