On Sunday the 5th of November, the Honorable Member Kogi House of Assembly representing Mopamuro Constituency, took a significant step towards fostering political engagement and Community unity by closing Ward to Ward All Progressives Congress (APC) rally in Mopamuro Local Government.
This event was organized in preparation for the coming Gubernatorial election scheduled for Saturday, November 11, 2023.
In a remarkable show of leadership, the Member of the House of Assembly arranged a sit-out with the youths Ward by Ward Ward; this gesture highlighted the importance of youth involvement in the political process and aimed to rally their support for APC and its gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman (OAU).
During the sit-out, the honorable Member delivered an impassioned address, emphasizing the significance of the coming election and the role the youths play in shaping the future of their Constituency and the State at large.
He urged them to exercise their democratic rights responsibly by casting their votes in favor of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman, the APC candidate whom he believes is the best choice for the development and progress of the Constituency in terms of infrastructure and human capital enrichment.
I want to assure you that, as the Chairman Committee On Appropriation And Budgeting in the 8th Assembly, the first budget presentation shall capture some of our infrastructural deficiencies and shall be followed to the point of implementation, Hon Olawumi assured.
