The Kwara State Commissioner for Communications, Hon. Olabode George Towoju, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the 2022 Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
In an interview with newsmen in Ilorin today, Towoju thanked the Almighty for making it possible to celebrate another significant day according to the command of the Almighty Allah (SWT).
Said he: “It is a privilege to be among the living souls witnessing this year’s Ileya in good health and sound mind and it is my prayer that we make use of the lessons that come with the season.
“We are mostly grateful for the peace we are enjoying in Kwara State and for that, we thank the Almighty Allah.
“I will not fail to appreciate and congratulate the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Mallam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and His Royal Highness, the Emir of Ilorin, Alhaji (Dr.) Ibrahim Sulu Gambari on this year’s Sallah.”
Towoju prayed for journey mercies for those traveling for Sallah and called on Kwarans to maintain orderliness and urged them to be aware of their environment during the festivities.
