TRIBUTE TO LATE GEN.ABEJIRIN;
So Long ..the Peoples General..
You are my third friend that died this month,after Papacy and Marulus and I asked God why?He replied why not? That he created us in his own way and at his own time and can take any of us away whenever he feels like,since he is the author and finisher of not just our faith but also our life.who am I to even question God?
We were both Mass servers at the Catholic Church, Kabba and you wanted to be a priest , you proceeded to St. Clement Seminary Lokoja,but you changed your mind and enrolled at the Nigeria Defence Academy, you did well for yourself and rose to become a Major- General.You built a multi purpose Event Centre in Kabba.only recently you expanded and included a hotel Wing at the Centre.You were generous to a fault, assisted so many people and was graceful in life.
Since death will come when it will come and all of us at one time or the other will surely end up in the grave.I can only bid you farewell . I will not cry again because I’m tired of crying, instead I will go down on my kneels and pray for the repose of all the souls of my three friends who departed this world.I also pray that you give me the grace to survive this harsh enviroment,condition and situation in Nigeria.
General..your legacy lives on and i pray that you will get a favourable judgement from God Almighty.Good night and so long!
